With all these cute babes being born I started thinking about my labor and I decided I wanted to write my labor story 😊 sorry in advance this is long! Hahah. So I went in on the 21st for a normal check up and I stepped on the scale and I gained 10 pounds in 1 week 😳 I was in shock! And so was my nurse so she had me get on the scale again and it was the same. Then she checked my blood pressure and she said "I think your stressed about that weight gain because your blood pressure is really high for you, so I'm going to check in again in a few minutes try to calm down." Then my doctor came in a few minutes later and checked my blood pressure and said "Okay your blood pressure is high and you have a lot of protein in your urine so I'm going to admit you to labor and delivery because I believe you have preeclampsia we will do a few tests and your most likely going to be having your baby tonight!" So me and Chris made our way down to L&D and I literally could not stop shaking it was so crazy! I was so excited and scared it was all so unreal. So I got to the room and after a while they took a bunch of blood for some blood tests and I started a 24 hour urine test. After like 6 hours they FINALLY had some news for me. My doctor came and said "we just did another urine test and we don't have time to do the 24 hour test we need to get your induction going because this is severe preeclampsia." I was super super hungry because I hasn't eaten since the day before and they wouldn't let me eat. (It was about 8pm) So they let me have something small and then after they started my induction. I had to be on magnesium which was literally the worst part of the entire labor. It made me feel drunk and I couldn't focus and I hated it so much. Also because I was on magnesium I have to have a catheter the whole time which sucked.. So anyways after a really awful night of no sleep they started me on pitocin the next morning at 9 am and by like 3 I was feeling the contractions. At like 5 they broke my water and about an hour later I got the epidural because it started getting REALLY bad. Then at about 8 I was feeling the contractions really bad again so they gave me a higher dose of the epidural and I could still feel them so they gave me ANOTHER dose of the epidural and by that point I couldn't move any part of my legs it was so weird. Then they checked my dilation again at 9:30pm and I was FINALLY at 9cm! So they went to go find the doctor and I guess the girl in the room next to mine was also at 9cm and there wa only one doctor on call so they said it was a "race" to see who would deliver first and it was me! I started pushing at 10pm and Chris was holding my leg which i didn't want at first because I didn't want him to see me poop! Hahahaha. Then 30 minutes later I had my precious bean! She was technically pre-mature they let me hold her for like 30 minutes and let my family come in and see her because they were ALL waiting. Then they took her away to do tests and Chris got to go with them and I was alone in the room for 2 hours and I hated every minute!! It sucked having my baby taken and I couldn't go ): finally I got to my room at 1am and got to be with my baby and Chris 😍 sorry for long this was!

Sometimes you know your body better than everyone else. Not every woman will produce high levels of hcg throughout pregnancy some it can take weeks some it can take months don’t trust a blood test don’t trust a urine test trust your heart and when you know it’s times it’s time this doctor was not a gynecologist so he did not give me a quantitative blood test to actually see what my hcg level is at I hope this helps some of you ladies who just feel like giving up and stop testing because of what everyone else thinks or what a doctor tells you trust your body you know your body better than a blood test and a pee test and god will lead you to the right path

on the 6th October I did 2 test with 2 lines , 3rd test was clear blue digital and was positive 2-3 weeks I was waiting for a month for a midwife appointment.. so yesterday I started bleeding went today for a scan and they go to me no sac .. but can see a cyst or a sac outside the womb so therefore she did another test there and it was negative .. she said if it was positive it would have been ectopic pregnancy but because it was negative she said it's miscarriage. Has anyone else been through this as am so confused ?? As some saying maybe I wasn't pregnant at all and it gave me positive results

So I scheduled my appointment for Thursday when my insurance is active! I'm just wondering if I should pay out of pocket to get a blood test done at this point 😩. I hadn't been testing with fmu, so I just thought.. Let me test with my $1 test with fmu and see what happens (I've been testing with frer only - 1st Pic is the last one I took on Sat) and I got a faint line I think.. I've been getting negative with frer. 🤔 I feel like I'm going to drive myself crazy testing because I have to wait for my appointment or to bleed and I just don't know what's going on 😂😂😪
