@mamabirch20: yah see I always have contractions after sex so it's hard to decipher which ones are which :-/

@octbaby1031:yes exactly it can progress real fast at any point!! 😁 well I hope it's getting close cus bleeding off an on all this mucousy discharge and pelvic pressure is killing me!!! (Srry tmi) lol

this is my second pregnancy, but with my first pregnancy, my husband and I had sex the morning after my due date and two hours after I started have contractions. within three hours of that they became closer and more painful and I went to the hospital and had my daughter that evening.

I lost some of my mucus plug when i was like 25 weeks so its true that it does grow back. But at least you know your bodys getting ready. If you feel like theyr getting stronger than it is better to be safe than sorry. I went from 4cm to 7cm pretty quickly only having mild contractions. Then after that they got intense. and went from a 7 to 10 real quick. You never know how your bodies going to react... If you have a feeling you should get checked out again then i think you should ☺ Might be baby time. 👶

@octbaby1031: See I lost my mucous plug last week, and I thought I was experiencing real contractions so I went into l&d and they said I was not dilated any and my cervix was "high & thick". They monitored me some more and ran some tests and within an hour I was dilated to 1 cm, which we all know is NOT anything to be excited about for that can go on for Weeks!! Lol. Since then I've been continuing with my walking and lately for lack of better words I've been in the "mood" haha, with that being said I feel like my contractions are much stronger but I'm scared to go in because I don't want to be sent back home, I know it's better to be safe then sorry though! Oh and I've read and heard from many that your mucous plug can regenerate 😞

I had sex maybe a week before she was born. But i started loosing my mucus plug ALOT for that whole week. it started comming out like a hour after i had sex. lol tmi.... So i believe sex got things started for me, but it was a long process.

And it took me a whole day for my contractions to finally line up

I did but I did a lot of walking and had a membrane sweep. They didn't ask me if any foreign objects had been in me lol
