QUESTION.
Since I now know for sure I'll be being induced sometime the week of the 16th, is there anything I should majorly be prepared for? More or less I guess my question is what exactly will happen? I know my doctor will explain it more next appointment but I'd like some input from momma's who have been induced.
lol yea I was asking for the epidural b4 they even got me into a room but I was in full labor when I got to the hospital I was already 8 cm when I got there so I had no time lol
@cassiereyna14,
I'm really hoping she comes on her own before the induction but I highly doubt it. but that's awesome it worked out for you :)
@babygirl10-11,
oh my doesn't sound any better than me haha, I held out until I was 6cm dilated before asking for the epidural. deff going to get it sooner of I'm able. and I was yelling at everyone and I don't even remember 😂
yea and my pain tolerance is horrible this last baby I did natural and my mom heard me screaming from down the hall lol
I was induced and had a very quick labor...then again I was in early labor for the whole day and I think my body just needed the little boost to get things going
@babygirl10-11,
okay guess it just depends on pain tolerance as well; my first labor was awful and was almost 20 hours. just hoping this one goes a lot smoother in all aspects.
nor did her heart rate drop ... but everyone is different it just depends on your body and baby
I dont think the contractions are mc.f.ore intense then if labor comes on natural my first baby labor came on natural and my second baby I was induced both those labors lasted about 16 hrs and contractions felt the same
Okay well those are deffinetly some huge issues to weigh in! @addysmama04
How long was your labor?
Being induced also carries the chance of having a c-section. Don't be surprised if your baby's heart rate starts to drop. The induction drugs tend to do that. I was induced with my first and she ended up turning and was pinching her cord. I was very close to having an emergency c-section. The contractions will be more intense as well.
My question about the yoga ball was because I wanted to know if it would be worth the money to order at 36 weeks I'm not trying to induce labor now I know it's way too early
@itsamemario, you deleted your post before I could hit send but this is my comment: I don’t know if this answers your question but this is my answer.
My son is 7 and he knows race and color. Why? Because he himself comes from a family that is multi racial and because he has already experienced racism. I also believe as his mother it’s my job to teach him color and the cold hard truth about society. He knows what’s going on in this world. I’d be hurting him if I allowed him to blindly walk out...
TMI question but just out of curiosity, how often do you have sexy time with your SO? If you don’t want to answer the question or you don’t agree with my question then SCROLL ON because guess what, sex is normal and natural. 🙄 I’ll start, once a week. I know, I know, my sex life sucks 😩
I got a dumb question. 😁😂 so I always shaved before I went in to be induced. But this time I don't think am. But my friend was telling me that if my hair is long enough they will trim it while I'm in labor. 😂 But since it's coming from her I can never believe what she says. 🙄 has this ever happened to anyone? Lol I would like to know that way I'll just attempt to shave before I get induced Monday.
@countdown2klea, I was in labor for 5 hours.
