@californiahaley, @pregomom thanks I feel a little better. n I can't g in it'll break my heart. my mom is gonna go in
My son slept through his. My pedi used the ring (I don't remember what it's called) so I didn't have to do anything. No cream. No pulling the skin back. No wrapping it nothing. The ring falls off in 5-8 days and it's all healed underneath.
I don't know how they do it. The doctor asked if I wanted to be in the room, but he said most mothers don't want to because they have a hard time watching. I was having a really hard time emotionally (PPD) so I waited. But I know he told me what was going to happen before. The doctors and staff are pros, and I totally trusted them. I hope you're not too nervous about it. Just ask lots of questions. It'll be alright.
It's really no big deal. Just remember to keep pulling back the skin as it's healing. Ask your doctor. But putting the ointment on is no big thing. It looks horrible, but it gets better, I promise.
@january10th, they were supposed to but they said there were no doctors avalible to do it
aww poor baby where I live they usually do it before we leave the hospital
The ring is called a plastibell. It was great. Literally 0 Maintenance. If your pedi gives you a choice between that and the "normal" I'd pick the ring.
