Really needing a friend tonight. I had started taking the Monistat 7 but my doctor was closed so I called our pharmacist and she said it was totally fine to take. Then I read online it's not in the first trimester and I have myself almost in an anxiety attack!
@christineann, they gave me antibiotics for bv and it caused a yeast infection.
Fwiw I'm pretty sure I used it in my last 2 pregnancies, so far I've only been dealing with utis this time.
thank you ladies! My pharmacist said it was okay and not to worry about taking it.
I agree with @christineann, my husband is a pharmacist and he tell me stories about dr's not dosing medicine right and whatnot. I would definitely trust a pharmacist over google any day.
@jackiemommieof2, hey girl! I had to take it when I first was pregnant didn't even know I was pregnant yet i got it right after my yearly Pap smear and then when I went back so they could show me the results were good I took a urine test and found out I was pregnant! And now I am in my second and the baby is growing like he or she is pose to :)
I would trust the pharmacist over anything you might find on google. Pharmacists often correct Drs too.
i got worried at first too i worry about everything still even tho i feel my baby regularly lol
@nikki11st, @steph__x0x0 thank you that makes me feel so much better! I was really worried I had done something to hurt the baby!
yeah i took it too in my first trimester and its actually what my.doctor recommended babys fine healthy and.very active
it's likely the same disclaimer they put on most medications packaging...they put that on there because apparently it's not common sense for us, being pregnant, to ask a medical professional before taking medications...?
