I need some cheering up ladies...my mom recently told me yesterday that she doesnt want to go to my baby shower or that she doesnt wanna have anything to do with my baby...she told me to pretend that shes not ever my mom no more. I really wanna cry...she always breaks me down.

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
What would you do? - baby shower SO my mom has been very negative about the baby my entire pregnancy. Especially in the beginning, she said the most HORRIBLE things about me, my DH and my unborn baby. Like that I was making a big mistake, that I was making her 2015 the worst year ever... etc etc. Even when she would do nice things she made me feel like I was a HUGE inconvenience and a burden to her. She told me to definitely NOT expect a shower or anything like that from her. Fine, whatever, I don't need her, I didn't have this baby for her to raise. I'm married, living on my own and paying all my own expenses.
*UPDATE* Ladiessssss so I was debating on sharing this information as it means a lot to me so at my anatomy appointment they are referring me to get a second more detailed sonogram specifically for the babies heart. They are telling me that my babies heart is undelvoped on the left side and that it is possible that she will need heart surgery after i deliver. There sending me to a whole nother hospital and the damn doctor even said that i might wanna consider ending my pregnancy 😩 smh all this is news i don’t wanna hear bc everything else with this baby is perfectly fine ! Even her heartbeat ! I most definitely don’t even wanna think about ending my pregnancy!!! So I’m confused at this point i never been through this before . I definitely need this second look bc I’m so scared . Please keep me in your prayers 🙏🏽
I told my friend my mom wants to throw me a baby shower and write on the invite "monetary gifts only" and he told me that people aren't trying to pay for my "gas bill" I'm offended because a lot of money goes into a baby shower, and if you're gonna give me a 10$ blanket from Ross that I probably won't even use it's a waste. I rather use those 10$ for my honest company diaper subscription.
Is orajel the only thing you mommas use for teething? Lol cause my mom told me when she didn't have any, that she would rub a lil tequila in my gums. Lol I told her now I know who to blame for loving liquor lol

im sorry honey.... thats vrry hard to hear but look on the bright you getting a beautiful blessing in the process.... my mom wouldnt have attended my baby shower if i never wouldve change the date show she would be able to attend her 20 highschool reunion some people just dont have it all and arent fit to be parents you just be better... and lets her miss out on one of the most important great things in your life and HERS ...

My parents told me I was dead to them when I told them I was pregnant & made up really mean stories about me so that my younger brothers never speak to me. My entire pregnancy she's only called to insult me for "opening my legs", & decently apologized to my husband for not showing up to our baby shower. It's been hard all I have is my husband & baby girl on the way because of them I manage to smile every day & don't let it get to me. Eventually parents will come around. We don't need that stress, just focus on your precious baby that's coming. ❤ Things will get better with time.

I'm so sorry when my dad found he was a complete dick and was saying I ruined my life and that I'm gonna drop out of college and my husband ruined my life but after I couple of months he's finally getting over it

I don't know why people are so mean. your better off and you don't need negativity and stress right now...she will more than likely come around later....shoot my bf mom told him more than once we need to abort our baby...its her blood too!!!

my dad was the same way..he said he's not my dad anymore etc...but now he came around & bought my son a bunch of clothes & attended my baby shower & i was never close with my dad before my pregnancy either. id see him a few times a year & we live 15 minutes apart..but he completely changed. I'm really close with him and everything. maybe your mom will change her mind or was just mad! please stay positive!!!! I wish you the best!!

It's her lost honestly if she can just easily say that to you then your better off without her you and your baby you just give your child and yourself all the love and support that she never gave you show her you will be a better mom to your child show her what a mother's love is suppose to be like
