my male doctor told me I was one cm, 30/40% effaced my last appointment, and his head was low & today's appointment im one cm dilated, 80% effaced, and now his head is even lower (: I don't think he's gonna come within the end of October but I progressed (:
Doctor's appointment went good! I'm 2 cm dilated and 80% effaced!
labor soon? I'm 35 weeks, and last Tuesday I went to the doctors and I was 1 cm dilated and 0% effaced. This Tuesday I went and I am 2 cm dilated and 80% effaced. How many mommas have had this happen? Any advice? For those who have had it happen how did everything play out and what should I expect? What happens whenever I'm 100% effaced? I have no idea what to expect and it is making me nervous! She also said he is head down and that his head is very, very low! That she could feel him through my cervix!
You couldn't find a babysitter?! Mommas, do you take your kids with you to run errands and go to mundane appointments? On two separate occasions, a doctors appointment for me and today at a car service appointment, someone has remarked "you couldn't find a babysitter?!" It never crossed my mind to find a babysitter. I take my 2 kids with me just about everywhere. They are well behaved (minus the occasional 3 year old meltdown) and one of them is attached to my boob the majority of the time anyway. Am I the only one? Is that a weird thing to do? Do most moms find babysitters?
Are there any effective ways & things I can do to help soften and dilate my cervix faster? At my appointment my doctor said I was MAYBE a fingertip dilated and 60% effaced.
