I hate when confronted all there is is excuses! I smoked before I was pregnant and once I found out I stopped cold turkey and have remained clean ever since then even now that I've already had my baby. I just don't understand how some mothers can insist to put themselves before their own children's health.

When I found out I quit cigarettes cold turkey quit drinking coffee and caffeine in general changed eating habits and take my vitamns everyday. I will admit smoking occasional weed though here and there so I can eat and not starve me or the baby because My nausea is sooo bad! Everything else I agree on my sisters pack of cigarettes a day being 2 weeks a head of me is worse then occasional hit here and there to help not get sick. Doctors words!!

I mean if your Dr. said so, I was avid smoker (not cigs) but just decided my little man and I would be better off. But no judgment, I'm sure if I was in your position I'd do the same! besides if you are honestly benefiting from an occasional hit every now and then and it doesn't seem to harm your baby then go for it. I was simply saying I can't stand when mother know what they are doing is hurting their babies ( drinking, smoking cigs) and cigs aren't natural, they are CHEMICALLY made.. just sad.

@macy2015, this is very true. I cannot stand that either I get to mad at my sister for smoking a pack a day when she knows it is bad for her baby especially when these things are proven to cause harm in a child development it's just selfish
