Why do people say, "you'll know when you're having contractions." It's actually not true, at my 34 week appointment I was sent to the hospital because my contractions were every 2 to 3 minutes. I felt absolutely nothing out of the ordinary. Which is why I'm always scared that I may go into labor and not know it! How do I really know when I'm going into labor? Or about to go in?

Exactly, and sometimes I feel what I think are contractions, and their nothing but aces. So I just don't know when to go to the hospital or anything. Cause for the past hour I've been feeling what I think are contractions, but like I said, i don't know what they are exactly! @dawn
I agree I did not know with my first I was sent to hospital cause water broke had no pain with her or contractions
