Any ladies get there nails done. Not just a basic manicure with polish. But the acrylic nails? I miss getting my nails done. I want to get them done. But family and friends are saying I shouldn't because it's easier to scratch the baby when he's here. etc. Any input?
I always get mine done -& I've never heard anything different that I couldn't. so I will have them when my baby come too
@amandapanda85, yea they say to take them off when in labor cuz they mess with the machine they put on your finger that checks pulse
But I got a really bad headache the ladies gave me a little mask it didn't help because there was alot of customers & my baby kept moving alot like never before idk if it was the chemicals/:
some doctors make you take them off during labor.. I haven't gotten mine done because pulling them off would just add to my labor pain.. so ask your doctor if they care.. but after labor just keep them at a reasonable length I never scratched my Lil man
That's what I like to hear! I think I'm going to go today lol. @nichollette5515
Hahaha its no different than having real nails. Real nails are actually usually sharper than acrylic. I have mine done all the time
any one get their nails done (acrylic nails) late in their pregnancy?

Which nails to get for vacation?! I can't decide and I have to get them done, I'm getting engaged over vacation 😊
If anyone is trying to get any tattoos done on them, I really recommend you not to especially if you are pregnant. You can seriously HARM the child!

I REALLY wanna get my nails done!!
love this color 💅

My 6 year old and I got our nails done today. She got her first manicure and they painted Olaf on her thumb! Some people have expressed that they think she's to young to be getting a manicure. I used the manicure as a bribe to get her to stop biting her nails and if it works...I'm going to keep taking her bi weekly when I go for a fill. I remember my parents not letting me get a manicure until I was in high school. Is it really so strange for a little girl to regularly get manicures?
Yes it is so easy to scratch them. Poor little ones their skin is so sensitive, they already scratch themselves enough. No need for us to help. And then you feel so terrible afterwards. I've never had fake nails and try to keep my nails short and I've scratched my baby once when he was 12 months, when I tried to grab him while he was falling.
