not sure if I should even do a registry or not. I had a couple coworkers tell me they would throw me a shower, but then one is flakey as hell and the other just moved across the country out of nowhere. so im honestly doubting they will follow through with it. i dont really have any family members near me or many friends for that matter to invite even if I threw my own shower. im 27 weeks, but im not sure if I even should bother making a registry or not...any advice? I've kinda just been buying little things here and there when I have a few extra dollars left from my pay check.

I highly suggest creating a registry because u never know what people may or may not want to do for you :) we aren't expecting everyone to actually buy something but we know that at least people know what we want if they do want to. :)
My husband and I are new to the west coast, left all our friends and his family in the west coast excluding his two aunts who live here. We just did an Amazon baby wish list and sent it to anyone who asked and anyone we thought would want to contribute. The nice thing is that they can just pay for the stuff and Amazon will ship it to us. So distance is not an excuse :)
So idk if I’m an asshole for thinking this but a girl I used to go to school with is having her 3rd kid and she’s planning a baby shower and she had one with her other two. I feel like a baby shower is something you do with ur first pregnancy. I live far from my family so I didn’t have one but i did have a baby registry and I’m not even doing that with this pregnancy. Idk I just feel like 3 baby showers is a lot! Especially when she gets things handed to her. Idk maybe I’m an ass for thinking that

Reasons why I should have my son taken away from me for neglect:
My doctor also recommended me getting the flu shot while pregnant ? I'm not sure if I want to or if i should ? It's all scary to me !! What do you ladies think ? Did you get the flu shot while pregnant ? Are there any risks? Or should I wait ? I'm so scared of taking anything while pregnant , much less getting this shot.. He said it isn't mandatory , just recommended.
