Question- I'm curious if anybody here has received prenatal massages? How far along were you? I'm actually a "retired" licensed massage therapist and I specialize in prenatal massages. There are a lot of myths out there and I'm curious to know what your apprehensions are about receiving prenatal massage? What did your dr. or massage therapist tell you about massage?

i was told prenatal massage would help my awful awful back pain. my doc said to try other remedies first (warm bath, heating pad...etc) so i know its ok. i just worry because i had a previous back injury that is super easy to agrivate.

his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
