I did prenatal yoga to help with the pain the small back arches stretched the muscles and ligaments slowly. It also helped with the hip pain that I had.
@kaylhunt2, I will try that! I bet a heating pad would help tremendously! I need get one. I'm probably the only pregnant lady who doesn't have one lol. Well, i guess I know what I am in for now lol.
i have had it off and on throughout my entire pregnancy. i tended to get it pretty bad during the large growth spurts. so. the first little bit was crampy. around 10- 16 weeks. 20-24 weeks. and im expecting it again soon. i would gently massage my belly and that tended to help. and warm baths and a heating pad on low was a life saver.
@earthrose13, thank you for the advice! I really appreciate it!! I will sure to try that!
totally. i started having round ligament pain at 10 weeks. doctor said it was normal so i didnt ever think much of it .
The only thing that helped is laying on my side curled up with a pillow under my tummy. Not much else you can do. It goes away after your body adjusts and then the baby gets bigger and the ligaments stretch more and you start all over again.
@earthrose13, this is my first too! I can't believe it's so uncomfortable!! 😫
yup mine started at 9 weeks. I had to quit work because I worked at Wal-Mart and couldn't function
