You know that moment you think you have friends on your side, only to realize that they are talking to each other about how terrible you are? If I didn't have kids, I would just disappear and start a new life. Who needs enemies with friends like that?

I will never understand why people tell women in emotionally abusive relationships that it's worth it to work it out, or "you owe it to your family to keep trying." If she was being punched you wouldn't say that. When that gets said, you make her feel more worthless than she already does.

Made some AMAZING collards tonight. My youngest ate 3 helpings of it! 😊

My little darling has been ill for a week. Finally had to go get a dr. Note from the hospital to excuse her from school. I made sure I did my best to keep her from infecting anyone else and anyone else from infecting her with anything else. Poor pumpkin.

I think, perhaps, my husband forgot who he was married to when he asked me if I would go buy him some soup. I've managed to not get sick yet, and he is, therefore there was absolutely NO WAY I was going to go buy him soup when mine is so much better..
He loved it. 😊

Apparently while I was at work, my children were not on their best behavior. my hubby is at his wits end, I have a migraine, and we are supposed to be going out tonight without the kids. sigh. wish me luck today, I'm hoping my day turns around
