Not sure why everyone (family and friends) keep suggesting we feed our baby rice cereal and oatmeal... can someone fill me in?

pierced-momma @isabellasmom, I'd rather lose sleep then fill my child up with something that has no nutritional value,
irishtwinmomma I put it in my son's bottle to keep him full since he was eating every hour
