Back in hospital, for little man this time
He's got a cannula in and is on antibiotics but hope to be home soon ❤️

If they midwife is unsure that all of the placenta is out, make sure they check!
I had Dean on the 5th and was out that day. But the midwife said "I think all the placenta is out" and left it at that. Boy was she wrong... I still had some inside me and it started an infection. I got rushed back into hospital and was too ill for little man to stay with me, I missed out on the first week and a half of his life, it was so heartbreaking watching my partner and my baby...

we had been given the all clear to try natural remedies to get labour going. A few days in and I can honestly say that personally
1) curries don't work
2) long walks just make you tired
3) sex is just a chore
4) pineapple tastes disgusting
5) expressing makes your nipples huge (it's quite funny)
6) and bouncing up and down is just pleasant for your partner to watch 😂
