It truly is discouraging to be over due, for me at least. 😔

I was sent home last night from L&D around 3 am. I was having contractions every 2-5 minutes for the last 3 days. I was also bleeding due to loosing my mucus plug so quickly. The contractions were strong and excruciatingly painful when I went in and kept getting stronger; but I wasn't progressing quick enough. I was not even a finger tip dilated.

When I was told I was going to be sent home I started crying. They gave me sleeping pills and Tylenol to try to ease the pain and try to sleep throu...

Just had a bloody show after having contractions for 2 days. These contractions are no joke. I'm a first time mom, and everyone always said "You'll know when it is time. You'll just know" & I never understood until now.

So, I'm on my way to the hospital. Wish me luck. I'm beyond terrified.

ladies, I need your help.
I've been having constant contractions for the last 2 days. Today, since 9am I've been having contractions that are painful. I can not walk through them, but can speak though it's difficult because I'm in pain. They are around 5-6 minutes apart.

When should I go to the hospital & when did you?
Should I wait? How long should I if that's the case.

Any advice would help.

I'm due today. For the last two days I've been having constant contractions that started off mild and painless, today they feel like severe menstrual cramps. I'm just waiting till they become regular and painful to the point where I can no longer handle the pain. I was monitored at L&D two nights ago, and the doctors said 2-3 days was their guess as to when the baby would arrive; but of course no one can be sure.

I'm a first time mom, this is all so scary/exciting. 😥😔

I'm 39+4.
What do contractions feel like?
& how long after loosing your mucus plug (which is happening to me slowly since yesterday) did you go into labor?
What should I watch out for?

First time mom here & I need all the advice/experience stories I can get because I literally don't know what to look for since I've never done this before.

You guys were right. the last few weeks feel like an eternity. At the same time it's crazy how fast time has flown by. It feels like it was just yesterday that I was just getting my first ultrasound crying hysterically because I was going to be a mother.
