I'm 26 years old and I'm a first time mom. I've been married for over a year now, since April 26,2014. I'm a first grade teacher in Orlando, Florida. I'm a mom to two goldendoodles. :)

This little guy is a month old today. He is 20 inches long and around 9 lbs. He has longer periods of being awake and he has also been sleeping longer in the night. During tummy-time, he loves turning over to his back. We love watching him smile and laugh in his sleep, now we just can't wait until he does it while awake.

My life has just been in yoga pants lately. 13 days postpartum

My husband is the best man I've ever met. He really has been helpful in every way possible as well as such a good father to his son. I couldn't be more in love.

One week old.

Still having breastfeeding issues. 😭 I'm producing more now but he won't stay latched for more than a couple mins then pulls away and cries. When in the hospital we did so much better, but just didn't make enough. I feel like I can't win. I'm sticking it out, I'm pumping like crazy and eating/drinking things to assist with lactation. I will be calling the lactation consultant when this holiday is over.

Good morning everyone from little Parker. Getting some UV to help lower his jaundice. (5 days old today)

Was just told by my baby's doctor that I need to start feeding my baby formula. I've been breast feeding but he was losing too much weight. We are supplementing some formula using a feeding tube taped to my breast but apparently it's still not enough. I feel like a failure. I'm pumping every 2 hours and feeding him every 2 hours and on demand. I just want my milk to come in. 😩

Day 2 of being a mom. Feeling powerful when I can soothe him when he is upset. But other times feeling useless when I struggle to feed him. I know both him and I are just learning with this breastfeeding thing.
