When a director takes a well loved classic film, book or game and starts by saying words like modern adaptation and their interpretation veering far from the original story and political undertones sprinkled in. 🚩

Sequels when the film was made in the 80s and 90s is a huge risk for a flop. I did not even watch Bill & Ted’s third movie or Beetlejuice 2.
@icebergahead, Beetlejuice 2 wasn’t horrible. But I also love Tim Burton, soooo. 😅 Minus his Willy Wonka travesty. I want to smack him for that one still.
@llamapantaloons, I do not want to watch Micheal Keaton struggling lol. I will include Final Tap 2.
Amen! They need to quit with the pointless sequels too. Sure, I’ll take those over remakes, but still. Like The Lost Boys. One of my favorite movies ever. It sooooo did not need the sequels. I saw one of them and it sucked. 😅
