Tried my best with my son's fourth grade diorama for Jamestown settlement. Added all the facts I could find. Did not have much I could make that could fit, but hope my son gets a great grade. Hopefully my son's teacher will not mind the actual facts I added to his diorama.
It's like the quote from the show, The Neighborhood.. If my kid is young enough to experience racism, your kid is old enough to learn about it. Can't change the future without teaching history.

Isn't your son supposed to do it all. Hes in 4th grade. Its definitely okay to guide or check there work but I think its suppose to be all writing and done by the child
He glued it all. We did it together. I just helped write it all for him. He did not want to write all the facts. But we did the research, and he mainly made it. But yes I wrote it all. But yes it was a team effort. He even picked out the 3D prints for what extra stuff he wanted. Trust me, this project is actually done way more by a kid than the other ones his classmates did..
Just asking as this would not be accepted at our school. I know schools are different. All of our projects or portfolios as they are called are alot like this and everything needs to be done by the child even written. It was a question because you can tell the adult did it thats all.
@mom2godzillaandwonkypets yes the adult wrote the stuff done. But my kid made everything else, and he didn't want to write it down because he does not have the best handwriting.. and I asked his teacher and sent her pictures and she said his project looks more like a kid did it than any of the others. So thank you for saying it is done well, instead of judging 👍🏼
