We do online public school so we stay home but he has teachers online and classmates. He plays soccer and we have a group of friends we get together with alot.
I wouldn't be so worried about the social aspect. Keep in mind that homeschooling can take a large chunk of your day especially since you have 3 kids who are in different grades and you still have to divide time with the littles. Have you looked into what requirements your school district has for homeschooling ? I know in my area you have to have a High school diploma or degree. You have to submit a curriculum and they have to still partake in SOL testing. They also offer k12. Some places also have homeschool days for socializing. I trampoline park and places offer them. I believe it's at a discount too. Some kids thrive off of the routine and structure in the public school setting and others do better at home and on the routine you create.
Im going to my kids school tomorrow and the school board to talk about everything. They told me my kids can't attend their school anymore and that my kids will have to go to the school in the bad part of the city so I'm very upset and scared
@eatmyassfromtheback-kthanks I don't really understand it to be honest that's why we are going to the school to talk more one on one but from what she said on the phone there's a new law in the state
