ours is called a multi-flo system. It has a tank with filters in it and has to be pumped out every 5 years or so (depends on # of people in your house). Our neighbor had his redone about 2 years ago and he has a tank with a leech field. His was $11k. 😬

we just had ours inspected prior to moving in we have a few more years. 4 person household. I thinking fixing the pipes at the old house was enough 🙃
