Also found out today I need a septoplasty and turbinate reduction surgery….. apparently the sinus surgery I had 3 years ago was half assed and incomplete. No wonder I’m still having so many breathing issues and sinus infections….

Oh no!!! Not what you need on your 2025 bingo card! I have an appointment Thursday because I've had 2 doctors tell me I may need to see an ENT due to the amount of sinus infections. They are starting to cut down on their antibiotics around here.

It helped a lot the first time, but it’s only been 3 years and there’s a lot of blockage and crevices, too much for regrowth. Recovery wasn’t bad at all, but I didn’t have a septoplasty last time….. I’ve been reading that that isn’t an easy recovery

I’d definitely go see one if you can. I prefer specialists for recurring or chronic issues because they know more about how to help than a PCP.

Scheduled for 3/6. My mom is flying in to help and tried to push it to when my husband is out of town end of April….. I’ve read that the recovery is either super simple and easy or hell on earth so I’d rather have an extra set of hands to help with the boys, you know? I’d rather do it next week, but the boys have a long weekend that weekend and it doesn’t make sense

my last sinus surgery I stayed at their apartment for 4 days and it was….. interesting….. now we’re in a different state so she has to come to me
