What is this plant and how to care for it?
@icebergahead, since you know about plants, do you know what this is and how to care for it? I was gifted it yesterday and am clueless.

Spider plant. They have an easy care.
Bright indirect or medium lighting is best. Water when soil is almost dry. They retain lots of water in their roots so they do not need lots of attention. Just check the soil and when leaves go droopy it is usually a sign for a good watering. Make sure the pot has drainage. They grow fast and produce offshoots of babies! I have one mommy plant and a few babies around.

@llamapantaloons bright but indirect light they are sensitive and will burn if they get to much direct light

We were emotionally manipulated with a spider plant gift 🤣 my son’s second grade teacher gifted all the students a baby from her spider plant that she got from HER SECOND GRADE TEACHER. I swore I’d never be a plant mom and here I am, a plant mom, because how could I let this plant die knowing its history??!!
