When is my baby coming home?
Longest month of my life!
After my 15 days in the hospital, my baby spent 14 days! And today is the day she comes home!!! I’m so full of excitement! My family and friends keep asking when she’s coming home, but I’m not telling anyone yet we’re gonna have her all to ourselves for a little while. She’s only two weeks old and her gestational age is 36 weeks so she still tiny. And we’re coming into the cold and flu season andI just don’t wanna expose my baby. What would you guys do in my situation?

Absolutely not! That’s your baby they will get her time with her! You take that time for yourselves and soak up those moments!

There is so much crud going around already this year, I would do the same and protect my preemie. People have croup, strep, covid already that I know. And they would be washing their hands and wearing a mask when they visit her, that should be common sense for people visiting a preemie, but if it isn't, yeah..that's what I would do.

oh no! :( you have both been through so much. Just relax and settle into a routine. I know everyone is excited about her, but it's honestly in her best interest.

yeah I have told only one person and she’s in Kentucky! I mean the people at the school will know but they all know boundaries and are more respectful than family. Which is always weird to me
