Apparently the black dress she picked out wasn’t to someone’s liking and they decided to tell her she looks raggedy and a mess.

RAGGEDY WHERE?! That dress is so cute & it really does look GORGEOUS on her!! What a POS honestly to say that. My kids have LITERALLY dressed raggedy & I have never said that to them. I’ve made gentle suggestions to maybe switch something or just explained it didn’t match or whatever but I’d never INSULT them & put them down. & again, in this case there wasn’t even a reason to say ANYTHING bc she looked beautiful. I’m so sorry 🥺

That is the first step towards a child resenting a person (whom makes comments that harsh) and having self esteem snuggles for life. They do not need judgements from the people they believe protect them.
