Our not so little boy arrived at 9:45pm on the 27 of March! The day before his due date! 8lb 12oz.. I used gas and air thru the contractions whilst i was in the pool then demanded I wanted an epidural..they finally got me to the delivery place where i could have one and by the time they were ready to give it to me his head was pretty much out so I push him into this world with no pain relief as I'd given up on the gas and air by then! I know alot of moms that have gave birth, and the hospital has to baby more than the mom does, could I tell the hospital to leave my child with me unless its to run test poole do they have to go to the nursery
Before anyone says anything. I was right there with him it wasn't deep yes it has two little holes in it bc of our cat. But he loved the pool for the first time! The ones with his shirt off wasnt the whole time he was out there we didn't stay out long bc of not having sunscreen and it was 91°
How come theres no group for birth/labour experiences? As a first time mom, I want to know your stories!

What is the procedure to get tested for Zika? I went to a pool party Saturday in a city that unbeknownst to me, had one case of Zika two weeks prior. I had insect repellant on, but I think I may have been bitten once. My son had a few bites and my husband says he didn't get bitten, but now I'm hesitant to have sex with him. I looked at the procedure on CDC website and it said if you had symptoms and live in an infected area (which had all of US) to get tested. I haven't had any symptoms ...
