Discipline for bad grades?

How do you discipline your children when they bring home bad grades? For a 5th grader or older?

Are there learning programs for the summer for 1st graders?? I'm so sad my son has failed and he will be in 1st grade again. 😭😭 he has learning disabilities but I feel like he takes advantage of that and he always wants to be playing and on the phone all the time like I'm so over it! I try my best to teach him and it's like he completely doesn't care and he's only 7years old.. Smh idk what to do.

Does anyone else think it's 100% ridiculous to expect 1st graders, kids aged 6-7 years old, to be able to solve all of these addition problems within 1 minute?

My son gets to take the test twice, first at 1 minute with the class, then at 2 minutes, and they average out the grades. Even with that advantage he only scored an 8.
