And here we go again. The town closest to me started school Thursday. Today a 16 year old was crossing the street to the school in the crosswalk and she was run over by a semi! She has at least a skull fracture and broken pelvis and has been life flighted to Kansas. This is absolutely uncalled for. The boy I know that was hit by a bus a few years ago is still having surgeries and struggles so much and he had a broken pelvis so bad they had to amputate his left hip and leg entirely. I feel so badly for this girl that was hit and her family.
Please always slow down in school zones ❤️

Oh my gosh that is so sad and so scary! We have people who pass the buses when they are stopped. I have seen so many close calls outside my house

This is so sad!!! People drive so reckless! When I was in high school this stupid girl passed a school bus while three kids were crossing the crosswalk. She killed two of them and she didn’t even get 20 years in prison and she was driving under the influence.

That’s awful! In my own town many kids have been hit and always in the crosswalk. 2 girls in front of me and my oldest. Only 1 has died but it’s been very traumatic to many. Needs to be harsher punishment.
