Отец в больнице: проблемы с дыханием, потеря веса, что делать?
It’s been a while since I updated on my dad. He’s been in and out of the hospital with shortness of breath and fluid build up in the lungs. Tomorrow he’s going to the oncologist and surgeon to try to convince him to be admitted for IV nutrition and possibly a feeding tube. He’s down to 120lbs and can’t eat anything, even a protein shake or bar is too much for him. We were really hoping to get to watch at least half the Super Bowl with him, but he’s too tired to be with the boys for a long time, and today he wasn’t feeling great. TJ had a cold last week so we couldn’t see him then either. I miss him

Thank you for updating, I have been thinking of you guys. It's really hard when the nutrition is such a challenge. We used to make my dad custom very high calorie shakes to try to maintain his weight and after a few sips he was always full. I hope he can see the reason of it tomorrow with the oncologist. It's so hard because he's so educated in what is going on. Sending lots of love to your family.

He can only eat about a quarter size of food before he’s full. He’s lost all of his body fat, it’s so hard to see. The drinks are too much for him, but he’s trying

very. He’s wearing his same clothes, but pjs only cause he can tie them tighter. He’s trying to hide it
