Anyone's children needed their baby teeth pulling to make way for their adult teeth? I had a load pulled but I was 10/11. They want to pull 2 of Max's where his adult teeth have grown behind his baby ones. He's only 6. I don't think he's gonna let them do 2 injections & then pull them! He was traumatised when he had to have the at home covid tests done! I've booked it but already worrying about it 🙈

I had teeth pulled at that age for cavity reasons. I was put to sleep. Is that an option?

They didn't mention it. I imagine if he refuses to let them do it there they may suggest it... Think I like that even less!

Am sure they use a numbing gel rather than a injection for children, I had 2 sets but didn’t get any pulled I was a lot older than max tho, they eventually fell out but once the adult teeth had room to move forward I needed a brace so had to get the rest of the milk teeth pulled at 16 otherwise I’d of missed the deadline for a brace, maybe that’s why they are suggesting he has them removed? Xx

He definitely said injection. I don't think Max will even get in the chair tbh. Let alone let them get a needle in his mouth! I'm tempted to ask for a second opinion. One of the teeth is a tiny bit wobbly & one isn't. Kinda hoping it'll fall out!

My oldest had one out he didn’t know he was getting the needle, they didn’t let him see it. But he also had baby ones behind 2 front adult ones and they came out themselves and the adult ones shifted into place by themselves too

One of mine (can't remember which) had an adult tooth growing behind a baby tooth, think it actually happened on 2 teeth. It actually pushed the baby teeth out on its own. The dentist never mentioned anything about pulling them out.

I've cancelled the app. I'm gonna give his baby teeth more time as one is loose I'm hoping it'll come out naturally. I don't wanna traumatise him if I don't have to. If after Christmas their both bot budging we'll re-consider!
