Что происходит с моим отцом?
Turns out my dad has stage 4 Mucinous Adenocarcinoma that has metastasized to his nature abdomen. He’s having a surgery at the end of the month called HIPEC to treat and hopefully give him 4-5 years instead of 6 months. 2 months ago he had no symptoms, went to Italy on vacation and 3 days after he came home his stomach doubled in size (he’s a very very thin man) and couldn’t eat anymore.

Thank you. He’s also my boss and looking to sell his practice, so on top of everything I need to find a new job by the new year….. it’s a lot

it is. And they asked us not to tell anyone until after his surgery, so it’s harder because I can’t talk to anyone. Not going to tell the boys until after surgery in a few weeks, but going to keep it broad for them. Just gotta keep it together

This is such heartbreaking news. I am sure you're absolutely in shock. I'm going to send love and good vibes that his procedure is incredibly successful, he beats all the odds, and we have years to come up with better treatments for him.

Thank you everyone. I’m a mess but doing my best to hold it in around the boys. Got some good screaming cries out in the backyard after my parents left.
