When to stop using a booster seat?
When did you stop using a booster seat? My oldest is 50 inches and 72 lbs. She's meets all the requirements by law to not require a booster anymore but she just looks so tiny sitting in the seat. I drive a Toyota Highlander so she sits in the second row captain seat most of the time.

My oldest is 53 inches & 65.5lbs & I still have him in a booster. The seatbelt still cuts into his neck without it & he hates it. His booster goes up to 100lbs…although I think he’ll be too tall for it before weighing that.

How is the seat belt hitting her without the booster? Is it up on her neck? Or across the collarbone as it should be? I would use that placement as my guide.

My 10 year old is still in a booster. It keeps the seatbelt where it optimally should be across her shoulder and torso.

Mine were in boosters until they hit about 100 pounds. My youngest not 100 pounds because she’s fucking tall.

That’s what I think will happen with my oldest but my middle guy will probably be in his booster until high school. LOL He’s little. 😂😂😂

I was also wondering this, too, but for a regular booster and not a high back. My son will be 9 in Dec and is about 53 inches and 68lbs. Technically he still meets the requirements for the high back but it looks so uncomfortable for him.
I want him to be safe but also I know there are a ton of car seat experts here so just wanting opinions.

My son is 10 and 76lbs and I still have him in a backless booster. Like you said still looks tiny without a booster seat!
