Is this her first foods? I would mash it so it's really soft. If you plan on BLW I would definitely research it before starting. In the beginning I like to do 1 food at a time just for allergy purposes until I feel comfortable with introducing whole meals.

maybe it's the name....my oldest was like that too as a baby. Had to have exactly what everyone else had

I gave my baby chicken noodle soup last week. She was able the gum the noodles and she loved the broth

If you can easily pinch it between your pointer and thumb where it mashes, then it’s safe to give.

I give baby everything I eat. I modify hers though, her tomatoes are cooked much softer than mine, I remove the skin from the beans, or run them through the food processor because the outside of the beans is a choking hazard if it's not small enough. I shred whatever meat I give her. It's like making your own baby food, lol, but just with whatever you're, eating

Has she had any sensitivity to anything in your breastmilk? My daughter was super sensitive to my diet esp when I had trigger foods like tomato sauce, beans, cabbage, spicy foods etc. I would hold off on the tomatoes and beans and stick with bland foods to start. Lentils would be good. At least til she’s around 8-9 months then you can introduce more.
