Abstinence

I’m on slynd. It’s a pill. I don’t have periods on it, haven’t noticed weight gain or mood changes. It’s newer, there are coupons for it. It’s progestin only I believe so no estrogen. It’s also more forgiving than other pills as if you accidentally forget you have up to 24 hours to fix it. I haven’t needed that feature yet but it’s reassuring.

IUD?

I liked the Nuva ring when I was on BC. It was convenient and didn’t give me crazy hormone spikes. You can skip periods on it and take it out for up to 3 hours per day. But otherwise has the convenience of an IUD without having something medically inserted into your body.

I liked the pill I was on. It was mono-linyah. I was on it for 6 years with no problems.

I have the iud and like it! You can go two ways the hormone one which is the mirena or you can go non hormone which is the copper iud. It’s your best bet

I never had any issues with the pill. I think I was on different generic versions of ortho-cyclen. It worked well for me.

Love my iud. Never think about it except to check up on it once in awhile

Here's a con for ya! About a week ago my sister was as sick as a dog and took a shower and her IUD fell out! She said her vag was in so much pain and she rather get pregnant than get another 1 again. 😬
