Top of the morning lovelies let’s talk Hawaii. Who’s been? What do you bring? How many swim suits? What was some of your must haves?! The KT family is booked and now we wait. So tell me all the things we should bring and go!
Side note here’s B and I 9 years ago-the blonde was real
North Shore, Honolulu
Pearl Harbor
Sky diving, SCUBA
Pineapple fields at Dole Plantation
Absolutely beautiful!
Rent a condo rather than a hotel(most budget friendly and less stress for us)
Pack light and remember that anything you forget can be purchased there so you don't have to worry about lugging it through the airport. Be really careful about any food items you take on your flight. Hawaii has many restrictions about what can be brought in(at least when I went).
How long will you be there? What kind of activities will you participate in?
Day clothing, evening, and a nice outfit for supper out. There are dinner cruises at sunset that are nice.
Hope you have loads of fun!!! Find a local who can tell you "whispers in the wind" that tourists typically aren't privy to. You'll be amazed!
So much great tips!!
We are going in January for a gymnastics meet but decided to make it fun as well!
We’ll be there six days I think I’ll have to double check. What kinda clothes did you bring? What time of the year did you go?
Love the picture! I haven't went myself, but my in laws did. I'd take a swimsuit per day honestly. Flip flops and shoes (they went to see volcanoes) water shoes if you want to wear them in the water.
Never been but sounds like beautiful islands. I would try to go to remote spots and not so much of the touristy stuff. I love learning the history of places, the people, traditions plus nature. Visit historical spots and museums. I am also a BIG FOODIE! I want to try authentic dishes. Maybe these are helpful.
Research will be your pal prior to going for sure. See what the locals eat out there and you may find great eats.
That’s the plan! We have a gymnastics meet one day but I want to see all the things!! B is a foodie so he is so excited to go back and have all the tasty stuff (he’s been before)
