Wow. I’ve been gone from this app for so long. So much has happened since I left. Oliver went back to his second year of cdc pre-k. And they believe after this year, he will be able to move over to regular prek instead. Oliver can read his name and somewhat write it. He can count to 40 and he knows all his ABCs. He has made so many friends and he has learned so much. His teacher actually made a goal for him to be able to cut paper in a straight line and he mastered it the second time he tried it so they had to make a new goal. They say this happens a lot. He learns so quickly and it’s surprised his teachers tremendously. I’m so proud of him.
On the downside, our beautiful puppy died which is hard for Ollie to understand. He keeps asking where he is and when he is coming back. He doesn’t understand death. So this has been super hard for everyone.
My son is 4 and my mom just sent me this thing for preschool and I don't know if I should wait tell 5 to put him in kindergarten or let him go to preschool for half a day and then have the bus drop him off at home . Or if I should do online school with him . It's very hard decision because right now trying to look for a place and a car and my mother is also trying to get a new job so I'm probably see what his dad thinks I should do put him in preschool for half day and have the bus drop him off or if i should do online school. This is so hard . But i got to do it
One of my favorite children’s book about the loss of a pet is The Invisible Leash. It may help with understanding since it’s about celebrating love after loss.
