Кто сталкивался с операцией у младенца? Страшно до ужаса, операция 30-го у Isla-Rose

Its official, Isla-Rose is going in for surgery on the 30th, im terrified and its not even me going in

Has anyone else had a young baby go in for surgery? Im going to be a complete wreck especially watching her be put to sleep

My daughter had 2 surgeries at that age (1 week apart)

It’s the worst experience ever for a parent so prepare yourself. She was screaming because she was hungry and had to be nil by mouth, to then going floppy and seemingly lifeless in my arms. It was the most traumatising experience for me. But after the surgery (it was her eyes) she was a complete champ, didn’t seem to have any pain so no calpol or anything. They are tougher than we think, it’s us that breaks down! I’ll be thinking of you momma! Xx

Aww I must admit its traumatising for us to see! Sometimes they don't let you be there whilst they get them to sleep they ask you to leave the room however I got to hold my youngest whilst they put him to sleep but he was nowhere near as little as your girl is and I left the room a wreck because they warned me he might start jerking but he didn't he made strange breathing noises and as they was ushering me out the room I was sobbing asking if hes alright an they said that was normal for him to be like that if they had of warned me he would make strange noises I wouldn't of been to bad but I wasn't aware. How long is the procedure? Will be thinking of you both! X

Thank you, that must have been so scary!

I think even of she goes to sleep like normal I'll be a wreck, theyve told me I can stay in the room while she has the anaesthetic

They told me it could take three hours at least or it could take most of the day, I think what's going to hurt the most is not being able to cuddle her

I just keep thinking she's too little to be going through so much, she'll only just be four months oldx

@zoeslater17049 the whole experience is scary but my son was giving a new lease of life and so will your baby girl so in ways am glad they aren't holding off an getting it over an done with now and you will agree once shes recovered🥺

My sons was for a tongue tie which if they'd of cut it in the first 3 months wouldn't of needed to experience that but positive vibes these doctors are amazing and shes in the best care, the aftermath your constantly on edge so make sure your looking after yourself too! And wishing you both the best of luck! 🍀🥰 xX
