So my terrible two toddler threw a sippy cup at azalea today and now she has a red lump under her eye. She’s completely fine by the way but holy man 🙄 how the hell do I stop this? I’ve tried telling him no and he’ll still do it, I’ve disciplined him when he misbehaves and he still won’t listen. I’m at my wits end here

He’s still a baby himself. Be patient with him. At his age, redirection is more helpful than actual discipline. He’s still learning how to be a little person & now there’s another little person taking his mom & dad’s attention. It’s a big change for him too. But yeah, positive redirection & correcting.
I’m glad baby girl is okay though.

He may be a little jealous that’s there is a new baby in the house, he was the only child for some time and he sees mom and dad giving attention to someone that isn’t him. You’ve gotta be patient and try you’re best to distribute you’re time with both babes.. it’s hard especially if your nursing. Redirection will be you’re best friend. Good luck and glad baby girl wasnt hurt.

At that age we teach gentle touch and show him as you say it. He's probably really jealous and doesn't know how to communicate yet discipline at that age he won't understand. Good luck
