I want to try making guacamole and I'm wondering what does everyone like to put in theirs?
This is how I make mine other than garlic salt. I’ll have to try that! Jalapeños are a must!
I’m surprised no one said olive oil. I always add evoo to mine… I thought everyone did 😂. Lots of lime, salt and pepper are my basics. Then sometimes red onion, tomatoes, cilantro and hot sauce
Really, what's the olive oil for... texture? Taste? Both?
Red onion, cilantro, serrano peppers or jalapeños, tomatoes, salt, lime and Pepper
Sometimes I just do cilantro lime and salt
Red onion, tomato, jalapeño, cilantro, seasoning’s like salt &pepper, garlic powder and cumin with lime juice
Red onion, cilantro and lime juice. And of course some salt, and usually some cayenne pepper. Sometimes tajin.
Avocado, red onion, tomatoes, jalapeño, salt, pepper, lime or lemon and garlic salt🤌

I make mine exactly like this too, I also add cilantro.
@icebergahead @wellabean0413 Thank you! I've never made it before so I wasn't sure what most people put in it, bc everyone usually has their own recipe for things.
Go with basic and then later on tweak to taste preference.
Tomato, pink onions, cilantro, then lime juice and a tiny plop of mayonesa.
@wellabean0413 I thought you were gonna say ..."vegans use apple sauce in guac," 😂 I jumped the gun there. I use apple sauce in cake for extra moistness
@mujerstillregal, I’ve always just added an extra egg and used milk instead of water and butter instead of oil
Most of the time I add tomatoes, onions, lemon juice, cilantro, pinch of sea salt and I go heavy on the black pepper lol.
Lazy days I just make smashed avocado and just add salt and pepper.
Avocado, red onion, tomatoes, jalapeño, salt, pepper, lime or lemon and garlic salt🤌
