Что делать, если не можешь пойти на baby shower к кузине? Не могу поехать из-за билетов, она обиделась!

So my cousin invited me to her baby shower in June but she told me about it in April and every since then I told her I wanted to come but then idk but I’ve been watching the prices for airplanes tickets go up and it’s just too much to for me.. so 2 days prior she calls me and ask me if I’m coming.. I told her no I’m not going be able to make it.. she gets upset which I understand but then tells me she don’t know if she’ll be able to call me again.  I hate getting close to people even family!!!!!!!! 😢😢😢

If she’s living at home with her momma and already has one child then she shouldn’t be having a baby shower in the first place. This is such childish and selfish behavior. If she’s the type of person to end a relationship over this then she’s not the kind of person you want to be close with anyway.

What kinda friendship behavior is this? It’s 2022. The cost of living is getting brutal. I would be more understanding if someone were not able to fly to me (family or not). I am so sorry you are going through this. I have no idea what the cost of flying is now but damn…. She did not have to go as far as deciding whether to cut you off.

@meka2013, Sorry😟. Missing a baby shower (with a good excuse) should not disrupt a relationship. Oh boy. People lol. It gets harder and harder to find and keep good people in your life.
