Замена вентиля водопровода: столкнулся с проблемами и горжусь результатом! 12 OD vs 12 NPT

I played plumber this weekend 💪🏽🔧 had some issues with the existing valve. It was 1/2” OD and not 1/2” NPT sooo I had to put entirely new shut off valves in. Cut out old copper parts and had to clean up the copper to install the new valves. Pretty proud of my self. What was supposed to be a quick change ended up being a project. Had to shut off the water to the house for a bit too. But yay! New faucet LOL
