Omfg A couple hours ago I lifted my big toenail by hitting it with a filing cabinet... Any tips from personal experience? Currently taped down and called my mom who is a nurse.

That sounds so painful 😖 I know I'm clumsy, and I would get it caught on everything, socks, pants, skirts, carpet, lol, I'd let it heal a bit and file away at the piece that's lifted. Keep it clean and dry, it'll grow out.

Yeesh, that makes me cringe. I think it's going to fall off, keep an eye out for infection. That must have hurt like hell!

I think It’s gotta come off. Taping down doesn’t seem very good. Eventually it will come off anyway. But taping will hurt more in the long run.

I’ve kicked something hard and my nail eventually fell off. Lol. But it hurt when it would catch on blankets and what not. That’s why I say that lol
