My dad had a liver transplant back in 2019 and we just found out that he’s in rejection 😭 he will be on steroids for the rest of his life and they trying to see what they can do avoid another transplant. Life is so unfair sometimes 😪

Thank you, so they have to take all kinds of steps before he can get put into the transplant list again. Even though he is in rejection the steroids helps increase his liver levels to where they are normal, they’ll just keep increasing his dosage in the steroids and when that stops working then they can go on to finding what else to do.. We really have no idea what the next step is once the steroid stopped working

Ugh I'm so sorry! We thought my MIL was having a rejection to my husband's liver but it was a false alarm. Is he taking his anti rejection meds?
