I believe they say from 27 weeks onwards. The one I had with Harlow was really clear and I was about 28week I think.
With Kylans I was about 35 weeks and he was already head down and really squished so the photos weren't great. (It was free though so I didn't mind)

I've not heard of that before. I had an anterior placenta this time but it wasn't mentioned in regards to booking a scan etc
