Дочка в садике: сначала крики, потом радость, опять крики - что делать?
So lexi has been going to nursery since January roughly and everytime i drop her off she screams bloody murder then yesterday she didnt scream or cry she went over to them happily then today she screamed again and it makes me feel horrible like im abandoning her there isnt rly a point to this post just ranting and wondering if anyone else has gone through this aswell if so what did u do or what helped x

My girl did exactly the same. I think its very natural for kids to make a scene at drop off, if she seems happy when you pick her up, on photos and if you ring. Honestly dont allow the mum guilt to take over to much. I always see it as when they go to school its a full 5 days so best get used to it now. Plus with lockdowns and limited places open for the past 1-2 years i suppose kids are more attached to parents. Im sure shes fine and your doing a great job. Try and not worry or ring nursery and see how she is x

I am a childminder, I promise you it's very normal. I can bet that as soon as you're out of sight she is fine, running around, causing chaos and having the best time!
My advice would be at drop off just say "bye, I love you, have the best day! I'll be back to pick you up later" and walk away. Don't drag it out, just go. Dragging out the goodbye will make it worse for her. Eventually she'll realise that she actually enjoys being there and its actually quite fun 😊 x

My son did this for roughly 6 weeks. I cried everytime I dropped him off as I felt so awful, he now absolutely loves nursery and I'm lucky if I even get a goodbye 😂 I promise you itll get better just persevere. I used to ring the nursery after I'd dropped him off and they used to say he would stop as soon as he got inside which made me feel better so definitely give them a call xx
