I do not give sympathy for knowingly naughty injuries. He absolutely knows what is allowed and what isn’t. I tell him not to cry to me after repeating myself 4000x.

Okay I thought it was only me because I was having this same conversation with someone else and they turned and looked at me like I was the worse mom ever but like it’s so damn annoying when they don’t listen 😆

I don’t get mad. Im like “did I tell you?!” I seriously give multiple warnings and sometimes they just gotta learn it on their own 🤷🏻♀️

My dad was like that growing up and I hated it. Instead of consoling me he would yell at me so no I try not to get upset when it happens. Lol.

@riasm85, lol right me too. I remember one time I fell off my bike because i was riding too fast and had a bloody knee. My dad was super pissed. But like relax, I’m just a kid doing kid things. Lol. We were better off bleeding and hurting in silence than telling him we got hurt. Lol this clearly triggered bad memories for me 😅.

Lol I do comfort them most of the time but usually I get mad when I tell them not to do something and they continue to do it like jump off the beds and couch.

Lol I make sure they’re okay and not hurt and rub their boo boo and then I’m like “if you would’ve been sitting down and listening LIKE I SAID, that wouldn’t have happened” 😂
