I hate hearing “you’ve got your hands full”. First off I had only the boys. Secondly, I only have 3 of the 5 babies who have lived in my womb.
Because I have three of the five babies I’ve carried in my womb. It’s a reminder of what could’ve been and what is.
@monstermommax3 I'm sorry you've had losses and that you will always carry the hurt with you, but I also hope you will find peace in the blessings you have in hand. The comment truly isn't meant with malicious or malevolent intent when people say it to us. I hope you'll find a way to accept it as it is meant. In the meantime, I wish you blessed and happy night!
@xryztalroze, or people could practice not saying anything at all. Seeing as there is no way to understand what someone may be going through.
@monstermommax3, this! People say this to me plenty when I am out with my two 🙄
@caffeinequeen it's like when they say "You look tired." Gee, thanks. Super helpful.
I don't understand why it bothers some people to hear this comment. It's true. As moms we do have our hands full. I don't see it as a bad thing. It's simply an acknowledgement of how busy we stay and the responsibility we are blessed to have.
