It’s been a crazy day, I got lost and was late to Nats appointment which was at 8am, so they asked us to come back at 11am🤦🏻♀️ but the doctor said as of right now he doesn’t want to do surgery because it’s a very mild case of tongue tie and he can’t promise it will fix her speech, he wants me to get her into speech therapy and if their opinion is it’s effecting her speech, I can call him and he’ll do the surgery. atleast we finally have answers and I’ll be making calls this week. One up side is I was able to get Lou all the stuff he needs for the 100th day of school!

Both my boy's have speech therapy at school and it has helped so much with my oldest trying to communicate and my Ignacio reading so much better. He also has a reading group session so good for you for taking the steps! I know it may seem complicated now but it will get better! No matter what direction it goes ❤

Thanks! I kind of knew she was going to need speech therapy, I don’t know if you know at all but since she’s going to start school in September should I contact the school now letting them know she will need speech therapy?

you can always contact the principal to let them know to evaluate her instead of them noticing in the classroom. Then they can have the school psychologist do a diagnosis and you guy's can have an IEP started. Definitely let them know that's what her doctor had noticed it will hp get the process going
