Anyone ever do a road trip for 7 hours with a 3yr old ? Like idk if I’m strong enough 🤣🤣🤣🤣 so i think we going to sit this 1 out
Yes we moved from California to Idaho over the span of 2 days. Basically spent 2 full days in the car. It wasn’t as hard as I thought. Driving with younger toddlers is actually harder because they have a 1 minute attention span 😩
Yes, I regularly traveled about 6-7 hours when my kids were newborn to 1 and 3-4. We’d leave directly after dinner, do screen time with my oldest and hope they both got a few hours of sleep. The handful of times we tried during the day, it quickly became an 8-10 hour ordeal and my youngest hated being in the car.
I used to do it on a regular basis with my oldest. My brothers played football at the time and their school was 10 hours away. He slept for the most part, or looked at books and played with action figures, this was before tablets lol. I think you would be fine.. you can time it around a nap, overnight or keep him up the night before lol.
16 hours with a 2 year old and 6 month old. Packed lots of snacks. Downloaded shows and movies on a tablet.
28 hours with 3, 1year olds. This past Nov we did 10 hours with 5 kids under 5. 🤣 as much screen time and snacks! If you stop to put gas, have him get out and stretch and pee and get a treat. You can do it! The memories are worth it!
We went on a 9 hour trip with all 3 kids for Thanksgiving. It ended up being an all day ordeal, stopping for food, bathroom breaks and just to stretch. It went well. I'd drive at night if I were you, that way they'll sleep🤞
We drove 12 with my daughter when she was 3. Pack lots of snacks, a tablet, and a bag of small toys, books, and invisible ink coloring books. Also driving during nap/bedtime helps too!
